Corsair Utility Engine (CUE) software allows you to configure your Corsair products. The program gives you total control over any Corsair peripheral, and you can customize the functions of the devices along with the lighting effects.
The User Interface is intuitive and will give you the details of the compatible peripherals. The top interface section displays all the connected devices. You can select which of these devices you want to customize. The customization options offered by this tool are really amazing. Once you select the device, the left-hand side section will allow you to customize the devices.
The Action tab will let you define the actions you want the device to take. From this section, you can record macros, text, media, remap keys, etc., on your device. You can also launch a program using a peripheral device. You just need to give the path to the program while setting up this option, and assign it to a particular key. The Lighting Effect section, depending on your device, will let you set the lighting. This section contains two modes: Simple and Advanced. The Simple mode lets you perform basic customization tasks, like color shift, color pulse, lighting link, etc. The advanced mode will, however, let you choose a static, gradient, or a solid color for customization. The DPI section has four default settings, which, of course, can be changed. The performance section has two settings, named "angle snapping" and "enhanced point precision". The surface calibration setting will help you to calibrate the devices.
You can also make new profiles for your devices. These profiles can be saved for a particular program and the device will shift into the corresponding program profile as soon as you open it. You can also browse through various profiles available online and download them for your devices.
